Ms. Vaness' schedule for the 2006-2007 opera season can be found at Operabase. This season, Ms. Vaness is scheduled to perform in Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana" at the Netherlands Opera, "Ariane et Barbe-bleue" (will Carol cancel again?) in Nice, "Tosca" in Orlando, Florida, and her first Feldmarschallin in Strauss' "Der Rosenkavalier" in Seattle, Washington.
Not yet added to the Operabase schedule is another rôle debut by Ms. Vaness as Minnie in a new production of Puccini's "La Fanciulla del West" with the New National Theatre in Tokyo, Japan.
Also, according to Opera-L, Ms. Vaness is scheduled to debut another role, that of Maddalena di Coigny, in the verismo opera Andrea Chénier at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The title character will be sung by Antonello Palombi.
The Cavalleria Rusticana will be broadcast by Radio 4 Netherlands on Saturday March 25.
